The Holbeach Music & Beer Festival celebrates its 8th year in 2022 and very proud to be the fastest growing festival in the south east of England. We have quickly established ourselves as a well organised, respected and now one of the most popular family friendly community events in Lincolnshire that 'brings the community together' for the annual must go to gathering. We have always tried to deliver the very best value for money and entertainment including sourcing the best live bands, stage, production, sound crew, beers, ales, ciders, food, funfair and activities.

New for 2022

The whole team understands that to continue to grow we need to invest in the event by securing the best bands, adding new ideas, listening to customers and showing progress year on year. So we are introducing the 4 night camping stay, trade stands, more variety of food stands, the after party with CIRCA resident DJ’s and increased capacity!!

Bringing the beach to Holbeach

Thank you everyone for your continued support and after the success of last year we will continue theming our festival and we encourage guests to dress up, let your hair down and have a fantastic time... so lets have some fun this year as we introduce the SUPERHERO themed Holbeach Music & Beer Festival. We understand that to be family friendly we need to keep the younger ones entertained and the FREE KIDS ZONE has proven very popular especially the sand pit area, so we are going to make a larger play area of actual real beach sand for the younger ones to enjoy.

PLUS FREE children’s entertainment supported by the ‘Holbeach Town Improvement Plan’. This year our community festival is even more family friendly because we’ve booked the very best entertainment to keep the kids happy for 3 days of fun with Party workshops. Come and join us! Try your hands at juggling, your feet at stilt walking, or even your nerves on the tightrope! With something for everyone there’s lots of fun to be had! From budding clowns to the advanced acrobats, come and find out what you can do! Wacky Racers, Giant Bubbles and more! Create your very own Giant Bubbles in our Bubble Massive Workshops! With magical bubble wands all ages can create amazing and giant bubbles – fun to make and fun to pop! Younger children to be assisted (so a great excuse for you parents to have a go too! ).

We will continue again this year with the big professional stage to showcase all performers and give you guys the best show, sound and lighting experience you rarely see at smaller festivals. With great supporting acts and the best tribute bands in the country this will make 2022 our biggest live music investment line up ever with 9 massive headlining performances!!

The affordable family fun packed weekend will include supporting new music and encouraging the opportunity for local up and coming music acts to perform on our professional stage with lights, PA and sound crew. We hope to build the confidence of new bands by giving them the platform and priceless experience of supporting and performing before the festivals headline bands. Festival guests can enjoy 4 nights camping / glamping, 18 live acts, the after party DJ sets by CIRCA, trade stands, increased capacity, larger VIP marquee, funfair, FREE kids zone, food stands, big festival bar, real ales & ciders, FREE U12’s entry, FREE kids entertainment, FREE parking, FREE town shuttle bus and fun for all the family.

Covid Aware Event

We are fully aware that Covid-19 is here to stay and something we will all have to live with possibly for a long time. As well respected event organisers we just wanted to make all our guests aware of the steps we are taking to make your festival experience as safe as possible.

Most importantly our festival is an open air event which greatly reduces the risk of transmission, the venue is set in a 25 acre field and we have extending the arena to create extra space for everyone to feel comfortable. Please DO NOT attend our festival if you are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms (a high temperature, new and persistent cough, or a loss of/change in sense of taste or smell), even if these symptoms are mild.

We will continue with our extra safety measurements this year and will include: extra hand washing and sanitiser stations - more space and one way system in the entrance / exit tent - extra toilets with hand basin and liquid soap - frequent cleaning of toilets, bar, showers and other public high contact surfaces - extra first aid personnel will be available - contactless payments accepted - the beer tent will be managed and controlled with separate queuing lanes to the bar and one way system in place. Obviously respect others who may want to maintain some social distance or wear a face mask.

Help us to help you Stay safe everyone, the festival team x

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

NEW ON-SITE FESTIVAL CAMPING

Food and Drinks

No alcohol or glass to be brought into the venue. There will be local hot food vendors catering for all tastes. The Holbeach Music & Beer Festival is funded by local business sponsors and the sale of alcohol. We are putting together a great event for the community to enjoy and keeping the cost of entry low therefore you are not allowed to bring alcohol into the venue (you may be searched on entry), after all this is a beer Festival! Bar prices will be very reasonable, so please support us in purchasing a drink at the Bar then we can afford to improve year on year.

The Bar

The Bar operates a TOKEN only payment method. Drink tokens can be purchased from the kiosk trailer next to the main bar in the beer tent. We accept cash in the kiosk but strongly encourage all guests to bring a credit/debit card for all transactions to help reduce the amount of cash you need to bring with you. Drink tokens cost £1 each and we exchange your money into drink tokens to use at the bar (business card size), please note drink tokens from previous years festivals will not be accepted.

Doing our bit for the environment

We have been aware of the amount of single use disposable plastic cups that we throw away during each festival and are very conscious of the environmental impact this has on the planet, so its time for a change in 2022. Were going to try to do our bit so have taken the decision to no longer serve our drinks in single use cups and will be using Polycarbonate pint or 1/2 pint glasses this year. These will be available to purchase over the festival weekend for £2.

Bar Selection

There will be a large selection of real ales and ciders to enjoy and we have tasting notes for each in the main programme. To complement the Beer Festival we will have the usual Lagers, Bitters, Ciders, Guinness all on draught with alcopops, spirits, wines and a full range of soft drinks available. We will be asking proof of age to anyone who appears under the age of 25 asking to purchase alcohol.

Are Dogs Allowed?

No. We do NOT allow dogs into the venue with the exception to guide dogs.

DISABLED INFORMATION

We assume that, whereas the disabled person might want to come to The Music & Beer Festival, the carer may not and so we give the carer a free entry wristband. We do not send out carer wristbands. The disabled person must purchase a wristband as normal and at the main gate they must present proof of disability when asking for the free carer wristband.
Unless you are on the Festival Republic access database, we require supporting documentation as evidence of any specific requirements you require in advance please click here for our contact page.

Free parking is available for all disabled persons.

On arrival please let the stewards know that you require a disabled parking space and they will direct you to the designated parking area. The Free shuttle bus is also equipped to assist disabled persons and have designated wheelchair users space available.

This years venue for The Holbeach Music & Beer Festival is hosted at Kings Field, Fen Road / Raven’s Gate, Holbeach, Lincs PE12 8QF and we appreciate the grass land field can be a little bit uneven and hard terrain for some guests to negotiate. We are always trying to assist all guests to make the experience the very best possible for everyone who attends and we offer a little extra help for disabled persons and their carers.

This year we have made improvements which include ‘track mat’ pathways to assist disabled guest, less able and others who will benefit from a smoother pathway to our event arena. The pathway will start from the disabled car park and bus stop then continues through the main entrance, into the main arena, toilets, campsite and directly to the designated disabled viewing area.

    Camping tips

    • BBQs can cause carbon monoxide poisoning when left in your tent. Never put them in an enclosed space, even after they appear to have gone out. For more info click here.
    • Campsite stewards have a base in the camping site. Check out where the nearest one is to you. They can direct and advise you, and are first port of call in an emergency - be it a medical or security issue.
    • It is worth noting where you camp in relation to a numbered Fire Point or other fixed point, or clearly marking your pitch with a flag. It can be a nightmare to find your tent without a recognisable landmark.
    • Please do not take up too much space when setting up camp. And please, please do not bring a gazebo. They needlessly take up valuable camping space (and there are plenty of more interesting places to sit at the Festival than just outside your tent).
    • Say hello to your neighbours to build a community feeling and provide greater security. Look after each other and if someone is feeling ill, get help.
    • Remember that tents are very vulnerable, even zipped up. Padlocks scream "I have something worth nicking in here".
    • If you're worried about something being stolen, don't leave it in your tent.
    • Postcode your valuables. UV pens are available at Property Lock-ups.
    • Bear in mind that the most commonly lost items in the camping fields are keys, wallets, phones and cameras. Please keep them safe!
    • Be inventive about hiding your money - and don't keep it all in one place.
